White German Shepherd Rescues

If you're looking to add a white German Shepherd to your family, you might decide that raising a puppy isn't the right anwser for you. Many people would prefer to adopt an adult dog who is no longer in the puppy stage of life. The Humane Society of the United States estimates that 6-8 million dogs and cats enter shelters every year in the United States and of these, half are euthanized. There are many white German Shepherds that are abandonded each year that are looking for homes and families to love them. Rescued dogs still require training to bond with you and learn the rules of your house. It should not be considered "easier" than adopting a puppy - just an alternative with different challenges and great rewards.

Many people think that if you want a purebred dog, you have to go to a breeder, but about 25% of dogs in shelters each year are purebred. So how do you go about finding a white German Shepherd Dog that needs a home?
