Atlas' Obedience Career
Atlas has been training in obedience since he was 10 weeks old. He passed his Canine Good Citizen Test on April 19, 2003 at just over a year old. Atlas and Tracie are pictured to the right after passing the CGC test.
Atlas is training for his Companion Dog title in obedience in both AKC and UKC. He is very good at almost everything, but his heeling needs a lot of polishing. In order to work on his heeling, he is competing in rally. He has already earned one rally title.
Atlas is our first dog, so we've made every training mistake possible with him. In spite of this, he is very quick to learn and with some training he will do well in obedience competition.
