Atlas White German Shepherds

WGSDCA BIF/BIM Grand Victor 6x Select Ch. / WGSDCII Grand Victor and 3x Select Ch. / ARBA BIS Master Ch. / FO UKC 7x BIMBS 3x RBIMBS Grand GSD Ch. / IABCA Multi. Ch. Eclipse's Strength of Atlas, RN, RL1, TN-N, WAX, WVDX, WROM, O-V, TC, CGC, TDI, OFA H/Cardiac/MDR1 (known as Atlas) is our foundation white German Shepherd Dog. He was born February 28, 2002 at Eclipse White German Shepherds and came to live with us on April 20, 2002 at seven weeks old. He is an outstanding example of a white German Shepherd Dog and we are proud to have him at Atlas Kennels.

Atlas was our first dog, and we couldn't be luckier to have him. Atlas is constantly blazing new trails for the white German Shepherd Dog. Conformation is where Atlas really shines and he has done things no other dog has done. He has earned ten championships, a National Specialty Best of Breed and Grand Victor (WGSDCII), a National Specialty Best Opposite Sex and Grand Victor (WGSDCA), nine Selects (six in WGSDCA and three in WGSDCII), a Best in Futurity win, a Best in Maturity win, SEVEN UKC Best in Multi-Breed Show wins and an ARBA Best in Show win for his outstanding looks and movement. If that weren't enough, he is the only white German Shepherd in history to be the #1 German Shepherd in the top ten dogs of United Kennel Club, which he did in 2005. He proved this wasn't a fluke by being the #2 GSD in the UKC in 2006 and 2007 as well! He also was the #1 dog in the White German Shepherd Dog Club of America for 2005, 2006, and 2007. Atlas has proven again and again that he is a gorgeous German Shepherd Dog with outstanding structure and breathtaking movement and he loves to show.

In addition to conformation, Atlas has been training in obedience since he was 10 weeks old. We started competing in AKC Rally in March 2005 and he finished his first performance title in April 2005 - his AKC Rally Novice title. He has one leg towards his AKC Rally Advanced Title and has started in obedience with one leg towards his AKC Companion Dog title. We have also started APDT Rally which Atlas enjoys. Atlas also competes in agility and earned his first NADAC title in November 2007. He has points towards his first title in CPE as well.

Atlas also has a very strong herding instinct. He earned one leg of his first herding title with no training and has taken herding lessons and he enjoys the sheep very much.

Atlas has produced nine litters of outstanding puppies that seem to take after their dad in their structure, movement and instinct. In 2004, his puppies were the WGSDCA Best in Futurity and Best Opposite Sex in Futurity. In 2005, his puppies were the Reserve Best Male in Futurity and the Best in Maturity. In 2006, his puppies were Best in Maturity and Best Opposite Sex in Matruity. In 2007, his daughter took Reserve Best Female in Maturity and his granddaughter was Best in Maturity. He has also been awarded Best Stud Dog at the WGSDCA Nationals for four years running based on the quality of his progeny and has earned his WGSDCA Register of Merit award.

There is no other white German Shepherd dog like Atlas. We believe he is the most titled white GSD ever. He is truly one of a kind and at only six 1/2 years old, he has many more years to amaze us!
