URO1 UKC Grand Ch. Bahr-S Journey Through Dark, MSDCH, CGC, TDI, TC, VCCX, OFA H/DM/MDR1 (known as Anubis) is a black male German Shepherd. He was born on July 24, 2006 at Bahr-S Kennels in Yakima, WA and arrived at Atlas Kennels on September 28, 2006 at 9 weeks old.
Anubis was shown in conformation and sired one litter before he was neutered. He earned his UKC championship at just over a year old and his UKC Grand Championship at just over two. He is a Master Stock Dog Champion in the WGSDCA - the first male dog to ever earn this title. He may occasionally show up in the altered conformation ring, but he is now focusing on performance.
Anubis is training in obedience and agility. At just four days past his first birthday, he passed both his AKC Canine Good Citizen test and his Therapy Dog International certification. In January 2010 he finished his first performance title - UKC Rally Obedience 1 - in three straight trials.
Anubis has an amazing personality and loves people while maintaining a shepherd demeanor. He makes friends wherever he goes and has a real zest for life. He proved his wonderful temperament by passing the German Shepherd Dog Club of America Temperament Test just shy of two years old. He is a fun dog to train and we are very excited to see what the future holds for our handsome boy.
