Agility is a sport where the dog and handler navigate an obstacle course. There are jumps, tunnels, ramps, and all sorts of other obstacles. It's a difficult sport for the handler because he has to give the dogs the right commands at the right time and direct the dog. It's like dancing with your dog in double time! All agility is done off leash and usually with no collar on the dog (for safety) so our dogs have to be ready to listen and focus on the handler. Different agility organizations require different skills, but there is always a need for accuracy, safety and speed.

Our dogs LOVE agility and it is the one activity we spend the most time and energy on because of their love for it. We participate in agility in CPE, NADAC, UKC and a little AKC. Each organization had slightly different rules and challenges and we enjoy each of them for different reasons. All of our dogs are titled in agility in at least one organization.
