Welcome to Atlas Kennels, a family involved in the wonderful sport of purebred dogs. We're not a kennel in the strictest sense of the word; all the dogs you see in this site are beloved pets and live in the house with their owners. Some live with us and some live with other families, but all are part of their family.

We raise, train and love German Shepherd Dogs. Our primary focus is in the advancement and preservation of the German Shepherd Dog with a white coat color. However, we believe that it is impossible to improve a subset of the German Shepherd breed without understanding and considering the breed as a whole. German Shepherds are complex dogs - a good breeding tries to improve structure, health, temperament and working ability. If you breed for color alone, you sabotage those goals by limiting your selection of potential mates. That said, we do believe that when bred correctly white dogs are equal in quality to colored dogs and can and should be an equal part of the breed.

We are proud members of the German Shepherd Dog Club of America and the United German Shepherd Dog Alliance and we actively pursue opportunities to learn more about these wonderful dogs.
